sinsou set out to create more than just another product

The goal was to build a brand that reflects craftsmanship, sustainability, and integrity; a brand that people connect with on a personal level.

To bring that to life, sinsou worked closely with comsim on every stage of its brand creation and launch.

The result is a story of partnership and purpose: how comsim helped shape sinsou’s identity from concept to customer experience.

Watch: sinsou brand launch: Building an integration brand for the future

The challenge

Like many companies, sinsou began with a strong product vision but lacked a cohesive identity that communicated its purpose. The challenge was to take technical excellence and turn it into a brand story customers could immediately recognise and trust.

Jesse explains that before the process began, there was passion and potential but no shared language or consistent way to express what sinsou stood for.

Comsim’s role was to help translate that vision into something structured, confident, and emotionally resonant.

The collaboration

Working closely with sinsou, comsim guided the full brand discovery process; from strategy and creative positioning to tone of voice and launch preparation.

Comsim focused on aligning creative intent with commercial reality, helping Jesse and his team articulate what made sinsou different. The process was open, creative, and grounded in shared understanding.

“Working with comsim on the sinsou brand was genuinely different. There was no ego in the process; it was about finding the truth of what the product stood for and how we could communicate that. What I really appreciated was how everything came together logically and creatively at the same time. It never felt like an agency project, more like we were one team building something that actually means something.”

The outcome

The result is a brand that feels confident and complete; with a clear purpose, strong identity, and a seamless connection between story, design, and user experience.

What started as a concept is now a brand that customers recognise, trust, and remember.

The collaboration between comsim and sinsou on the business aims, brand values and name, combined with the visual elements from Rusty Monkey delivered both creative clarity and measurable business results.

Jesse’s perspective

“Working with comsim on the sinsou brand felt completely collaborative. They guided the process with honesty, creativity, and focus. Never overcomplicating things, just helping us uncover what the brand truly stood for. It was less like hiring an agency and more like building something meaningful together.”

Jesse’s experience reflects what makes comsim different: an emphasis on clarity, collaboration, and genuine partnership from the first idea through to delivery.

What’s next

This story is part of comsim’s wider branding and integration series following sinsou’s journey from concept to connected digital brand.

The next conversation in the series features sinsou’s founder Jesse and comsim’s Sam, exploring how the new sinsou website was designed and developed to express the brand online and support its growth.

After that, we look at how comsim and sinsou continue to collaborate through integration and automation in From Friction to Flow, before hearing from design & development partner Rusty Monkey on their experience of working alongside comsim to deliver the project.
