This year, we’re incredibly proud to mark our anniversary by making a contribution of just over 2% of our annual revenue to an organisation that holds deep meaning for us Q. Learning Nepal.

Q. Learning Nepal is a small but powerful educational charity that supports two remote schools in Hangdewa, nestled in the foothills of Mount Kangchenjunga.
These schools are so remote they are unreachable by road. The children who attend are still at risk of stunting, rickets and other diseases associated with malnutrition. And yet, thanks to Q. Learning Nepal and the Nepali school teachers, they are receiving not just an education, but a real chance at a brighter future.
Our relationship with Q. Learning Nepal is personal. Julia Mueller, our Growth Consultant, sits on the charity’s board of trustees. Samuel Jones, comsim’s founder, has a lifelong love for Nepal, its people, and its mountains. Anett Villanyi, our brilliant co-founder, is passionate about child development and the role education plays in lifting communities.

As a team and as a business, we believe that work is more than deliverables and revenue. It’s about responsibility. It’s about taking the privilege of growth and using it to support those who need it most.
Nepal is one of the 20 poorest countries in the world. Education is a gamechanger there. But you can’t teach children who are too hungry to concentrate.
That’s why our donation this year will fund approximately 2,500 hot meals for students at the Q. Learning Nepal schools. These meals will feed some of the hungriest and most vulnerable children for three months. Three months of being able to focus. To learn. To grow. To dream.

“An amazing donation has arrived in our Q. Learning Nepal Trust CIO account. Thank you so very much.
Some photos taken today of the children who will have the 2,500 meals. The meals change every day and have been chosen for their overall ability to give our poorest children a healthy diet.”
Lesley Warburton, Chair, Q. Learning Nepal Trust CIO

When comsim began, we were a team of thinkers, technologists, and creative strategists with a shared mission: to help good businesses grow better.
We never set out to be the biggest. But we did set out to build something that lasts, an organisation guided by values, built on relationships, and committed to ethical growth.
Two years in, we’re proud of how far we’ve come. We’ve grown more than 70% since 2024. We’ve worked with manufacturers and digital teams across the UK and beyond. And we’ve done it while staying true to our belief that slow, steady, and sustainable growth is the kind that matters most.
That’s why we’ve pledged to donate at least 2% of our annual revenue to charitable causes every year. Not just because it’s the right thing to do, but because we believe businesses can and should be a force for good.
We’re also working towardsB Corp certification, continuing to embed sustainability, transparency, and social value at the heart of everything we do.

We often say that comsim isn’t just about eCommerce. It’s about enabling the systems and stories that help people do meaningful work. We help manufacturers navigate complexity, build digital platforms that connect to legacy systems, and create customer experiences that make a difference.
But stories like Q. Learning Nepal’s remind us that the most important systems we can support aren’t digital. They’re human.
What Q. Learning Nepal has built with limited resources is humbling. They’re not just running schools. They’re creating safe spaces for learning. They’re hiring and training local teachers. They’re working with communities. They’re fighting child malnutrition head-on. They’re equipping the next generation with tools, knowledge, and confidence.

We’re excited to continue our support for Q. Learning Nepal beyond this donation. In fact, we’re also in the process of offering our skills as digital marketers to help Q. Learning Nepal increase their visibility online. That includes setting up and managing a LinkedIn page so that more people can discover their work, get inspired, and get involved.
We’ll be sharing updates on that soon—so watch this space.
In the meantime, we encourage you to check out their website: qlearningnepal.com and their Facebook.
Even a follow or a share can help amplify their impact.

To our clients, collaborators, and extended comsim community: thank you. Your trust in our team is what makes this kind of giving possible.
To the team at Q. Learning Nepal: thank you for the life-changing work you do every day. We’re honoured to support you.
And to our own team: thank you for building a business worth being proud of.
Here’s to many more years of growth, purpose, and partnership.
